SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration here Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company point developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
